Our Approach

WHAT WE TEACH

Start Where You Are. Build From There.

You don’t have to master theory or memorize scales to enjoy playing guitar. At String Theory Guitar Studio, we focus on what actually gets you playing: clean fundamentals, simple repetition, and a genuine commitment to your growth as a musician. Whether you’re brand new or picking it back up, you’ll build skills you can feel and hear.

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN

  • Solid finger placement and clean chord transitions

  • Practical strumming patterns and tempo.

  • Intro to fingerpicking (simple Travis-style and melodic hybrids)

  • Rhythm, timing, and counting you can use in real songs

  • Song structure, phrasing, and how parts fit together

  • How to play and listen like a guitarist

We teach guitar the way it’s been learned for generations — by doing it. You’ll grow through clear instruction, repeatable skills, and material that builds your confidence and creativity.

GETTING READY

WHAT YOU NEED:

A guitar, a tuner (or tuner app), a stable internet connection, and a quiet space. If tuning or setup is new for you, we’ll show you how.

This isn’t a conservatory. We’re not here to push classical theory or abstract and obscure styles. We’re here to get your hands moving and your brain tuned in to what you want to create.

If that sounds like your kind of journey, let’s get started.
