frequently asked questions

Got questions? You’re not alone. Here are some of the most common things students ask before getting started

Q: What kind of guitar should I use for lessons?
Any 6-string acoustic or electric guitar will work. We’ll work with whatever you have — no need to upgrade or overthink it.

Q: What age groups do you teach?
All ages are welcome. Kids, teens, adults, and even total beginners. If you're interested, you’re the right age.

Q: Are lessons online or in person?
All lessons are 100% online, one-on-one, and scheduled around your availability.

Q: I’ve never played guitar before. Is that okay?
Absolutely. We specialize in helping beginners build confidence and skill from day one.

Q: Do I need to know music theory?
Not at all. We’ll cover enough to help you understand what you’re playing — but we don’t teach theory for theory’s sake.

Q: Can I learn a specific song?
Yes — if it fits your skill level, we’ll break it down and use it to build new techniques.

Q: What do I need for online lessons?
A guitar, a tuner (or app), decent Wi-Fi, and a quiet space. That’s it. We’ll guide you through the rest.

Q: How do I schedule a lesson?
Click any “Let’s Get Started button or link in the page headers or footers. You can choose your time and reserve your lesson directly on our website. Just pick your slot and you’ll receive instant confirmation — no back-and-forth emails are needed!

Q: When do I pay for my lessons?
A: Payment is made securely online at the time of booking. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. This locks in your lesson right away and keeps everything simple.
